Not only are our staff members growing this summer—our students are too!
Summer athletic camps kicked off last week, and it's been great to see our Lancers learning, practicing new skills, and having fun along the way.
One of the best parts has been watching our older students step up as coaches, mentors, and role models for our younger Lancers. They're leading by example, building connections, and helping create positive experiences for everyone involved.
We're proud of the effort, leadership, and enthusiasm we're seeing throughout our summer programs. Keep up the great work, Lancers!

This week, members of our Lakeshore Public Schools staff are participating in TCIS training, learning de-escalation strategies, behavior regulation techniques, and ways to support students through challenging situations.
Their commitment to professional growth helps create safe, supportive learning environments and strengthens positive relationships with students. We appreciate their dedication to learning—even during the summer—to better serve our students and families!

Stop by to congratulate Dan and thank him for his many years of dedication, care, and service to our Lancer athletes. His impact on our students, coaches, and athletic programs has been tremendous, and we look forward to honoring his outstanding career.
We will also formally recognize Dan during halftime of the Lakeshore vs. St. Joseph football game on September 11, 2026.
We hope to see you there as we celebrate and thank Dan for everything he has done for the Lakeshore athletic community!

LLK Day is just one of the many ways we engage and support our families as we partner together in each child's educational journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to begin building these relationships and can't wait to welcome our newest Lancers back this fall!

After celebrating our amazing Food Service team during National Nutrition Month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Pam Greiffendorf, our Food Service Director at Lakeshore Public Schools!
For over 30 years, Pam has helped lead one of the busiest “restaurants” in town—serving around 2,500 meals every day to our students.
Her favorite part of the job is simple but powerful: knowing every child has had the chance to eat.
We are so grateful for Pam’s dedication, leadership, and the care she brings to our students and community each day.
Be sure to check out photos of Pam and some of her incredible Food Service teammates throughout the past 30 years—you won’t want to miss the memories!
Thank you, Pam, for being a true School Lunch Hero!

Who would have guessed?
In honor of School Principal Day on May 1, we’re taking a walk down memory lane… back to when our incredible Lakeshore Public Schools principals were just youngsters themselves!
From playground dreamers to school leaders, these five familiar faces have grown into the inspiring principals who guide our students, support our staff, and lead our buildings with heart every single day.
• Ben McIntyre – Hollywood Elementary School
• Rachel Kyncl – Roosevelt Elementary
• Jerry Holtgren – LHS
• Carole Fetke – Stewart Elementary
• Allison Arend – LMS
Did they imagine they’d one day be shaping the future of LPS? Maybe… maybe not. But we sure are glad they did!
Join us in celebrating these amazing leaders!
